Full Body Massage in Nanaimo: What's Actually Included

October 02, 2026•4 min read

If you've never booked a full body massage at Easy Cozy Wellness in Nanaimo, it's fair to want to know exactly what you're paying for before you show up. Here's the honest breakdown: session lengths, pricing, how much pressure to expect, and what happens to your legs and feet during the appointment.

Session Lengths and Pricing

Sessions are priced by time. Here's how the options line up (all prices plus GST):

  • 30 minutes, head and neck focus: $38

  • 60 minutes, full body: $70

  • 90 minutes, full body: $105 (or book it as the Full Body + Foot Combo at the same price, see below)

  • 120 minutes, Deep Renewal full body: $135

The 60, 90, and 120-minute sessions are the true full body treatments, with enough time to work through the back, neck and shoulders, arms, and legs without rushing. The 30-minute head and neck session is a quick tension release rather than a full body pass. You can see all the current options on the services page.

Deep Tissue Is the Default, Not an Upgrade

Something worth knowing before you book: full body massage sessions at Easy Cozy default to deep tissue pressure. That's the studio's signature approach, and it's built into the standard session rather than offered as a separate "deep tissue" add-on at a higher price. If firm, therapeutic pressure isn't what you're after that day, that's completely fine, you just need to say so.

Pressure is easily adjusted lighter for anyone who wants a more relaxation-focused session instead of deep tissue work. The key is communication during your appointment. If deep pressure feels like too much, or if you want it more targeted to specific tight spots rather than applied evenly, speak up early and your practitioner will adjust from there.

Foot Reflexology: Included Briefly, or Booked as Its Own Focus

This is where a lot of people get confused, so here's the direct answer: a regular full body session includes some foot work, but only briefly. If your feet are the reason you're booking, Easy Cozy offers two ways to make reflexology the focus instead of an afterthought.

In a standard 60-minute full body session, the feet usually get around 5 minutes. The session is built around the back, neck, and shoulders, which is where most people carry the bulk of their tension, so foot work there is a brief finish rather than a focus.

If you want more than that, there are two options. Focused Foot Reflexology is a 30-minute session for the feet, ankles, and lower legs ($38 plus GST), a good fit for tired feet or tight arches, or for a short visit when you don't have time for a full session. The Full Body + Foot Combo is 90 minutes ($105 plus GST): 60 minutes of full body work first, then 30 minutes of dedicated foot and lower-leg reflexology. It's the same price as a regular 90-minute full body session, so you're not paying extra for the foot time, just choosing how the 90 minutes are spent.

Not sure which to pick? A simple rule: choose the 30-minute session when your feet and lower legs are the main problem, choose the combo when your back and shoulders need work too, and choose the 120-minute Deep Renewal if you want the longest session, with foot and reflexology techniques worked into the full body treatment. You can compare all three on the foot massage and reflexology page.

Who Provides the Treatment

Sessions at Easy Cozy are provided by NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada) member practitioners. This is a distinct designation from an RMT (Registered Massage Therapist), which is a separate, regulated title in BC. Easy Cozy does not claim RMT status, and it's worth knowing the difference if that distinction matters for your insurance coverage or personal preference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is reflexology included in a regular full body massage?

Only briefly. A standard 60-minute full body session includes around 5 minutes of foot work. For focused reflexology, book the 30-minute Focused Foot Reflexology session ($38 plus GST), or the 90-minute Full Body + Foot Combo ($105 plus GST), which adds 30 dedicated minutes on the feet and lower legs after 60 minutes of body work.

Can I request lighter pressure?

Yes. Deep tissue is the default approach for full body sessions, but pressure is adjusted lighter on request for a more relaxation-focused experience. Let your practitioner know your preference before the session starts, or speak up at any point during the appointment if you'd like a change.

How do I book?

Booking is simple through the online booking page. Same-day appointments are generally available, so you often don't need to plan far ahead. Keep in mind there's a 4-hour cancellation and reschedule policy, so try to give notice if your plans change.
